This Privacy Policy explains how Novaris ("Novaris," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit novar-is.com, contact us, use our client dashboard, or hire us to build and maintain your website.

1Who we are
Novaris is a web design studio based in Leander, Texas, that builds and maintains websites for local businesses. Novaris is a studio brand of Astra Deus LLC, its parent company. For the purposes of this policy, Astra Deus LLC is the party responsible for the information described below. You can reach us anytime at [email protected].
2Information we collect
We only collect what we need to answer your questions, quote and deliver our work, and run your account. This includes:

We do not use third-party advertising trackers, and we do not build advertising profiles about you.
3How we use your information
- To respond to your enquiries and provide quotes.
- To design, build, host, and maintain your website and provide the Care Plan.
- To create and secure your client dashboard account and send you sign-in links.
- To process payments and send receipts and account notifications.
- To communicate with you about your project, updates, and support.
- To keep our website and systems secure and to comply with our legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for anyone else's advertising.
4Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe (and, for some one-off invoices, PayPal). When you pay, your card details are handled on the processor's own systems under their privacy policy. We receive only a confirmation that a payment was made, along with the amount, the plan, a transaction ID, and the email associated with the payment, which we use to activate your account and keep our records. Recurring Care Plan subscriptions are managed through Stripe and can be cancelled at any time from your client dashboard.
5Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that help us operate, and only as needed:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Novaris, our clients, or others. If our business is ever transferred, information may be passed to the new owner subject to this policy.
6Cookies
We keep cookies to a minimum. The main cookie we use is an essential sign-in cookie that keeps you logged into the client dashboard after you use your secure link. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking. If you block this cookie, the dashboard sign-in will not work. Our public marketing pages can be browsed without signing in.
7The NOVA assistant
Our site includes an AI chat assistant ("NOVA") to answer common questions. Messages you type into the chat are processed on our own systems to generate a reply. Please don't enter sensitive personal information (such as passwords or payment details) into the chat. If you'd like to share something sensitive, email us instead.
8How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we work together and for a reasonable period afterward to meet business, accounting, tax, and legal requirements. When we no longer need it, we delete it or de-identify it. You can ask us to delete your information sooner (see below), subject to records we're required to keep.
9Security
We protect your information with reasonable safeguards, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, restricted access, and passwordless sign-in links rather than stored passwords. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we work hard to protect your data, we can't guarantee absolute security. If a data breach ever affects your personal information, we will notify you and any authorities as required by law, without undue delay.
10Your rights & choices
You can ask us to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct information that is inaccurate or out of date;
- Delete your information, where we're not required to keep it;
- Opt out of non-essential emails (we'll still send necessary account and billing messages).
To make a request, email [email protected]. We'll respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity first.
These rights apply to everyone. If you are a California resident, you also have the right to know what personal information we collect and to request its deletion, and we do not sell or share your personal information. If you are in the EU or UK, we handle your information as described here and rely on our agreement with you and our legitimate interest in running the business as our basis for doing so.
11Children
Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above, and significant changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of our website and services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
